Food is another factor that very important to human life. Eating all kinds of food including the dessert have both advantages and disadvantages. Certain foods have affect to the health that also make malfunctions of body and lead to the disease. Therefore, the selection of food on a daily life is very important because foods have direct affects to the body and health of people.

           Cake is a dessert that is very popular in society because it is a dessert that can eat all ages. So, in the festivals that the people widely used cakes for conveys the good meaning such as congratulating and celebrations etc. Although there is no festival, the people still consume the cakes because it is beautiful, delicious, and attract the consumers. Cake is a dessert that made ​​from flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and milk and fat which have the main sweet taste. The result are the weight gain easily, obeseness, and has complications of health. Therefore, if you eat the cake appropriate amount of your healthy will have advantage are the cake give nutrient for example protein and carbohydrate etc. 


           Food is very necessary for human life. Eating all kinds of foods, if we eat too much or too few that will have the disadvantage affect to the health. Therefore, the selection to eating the food and desserts also have an important for health. If we want to have the good health, we need to eat the food every five food groups, eat the foods in appropriate amount and exercise.

          Currently, in society have variety of cake and it very different from the past. Cakes in the present have interpolation creativity and make the cakes with variety of flavors for develop the products to appropriate with the needs of people in society. The basis of the cake can be classified to 4 main types are butter cake, foam cake, mousse cake, and cheesecake.

          Butter Cake is the main ingredient that makes the cake rise is butter by beating the butter and sugar to be a cream fluffy before adding the eggs, milk and flour. The butter cakes can divided in several types for example layer cake, fruit cake and pound cake which it mean the cake that make form a pound of wheat flour, a pound of sugar, and a pound of butter.


          Egg cake or foam cake is a cake that is leavened by beating air bubbles into the egg. The egg cake can divided in 3 types are chiffon cake, angle food cake, and sponge cake.
·        Chiffon cake is a cake that uses oil instead of butter.
·        Angel food cake is a cake uses only egg whites, not put any fat and egg yolk but put a lot of sugar.
·        Sponge cake is a cake which beat the eggs with the sugar to make a cake rise.

           Mousse cake is a cake that beat the egg whites or whipping cream to rise before mixing with other ingredients for make the cake soft and always put gelatin for help to keep the shape and need to refrigerate before eating.

           Cheesecake is a cake that has cheese cream to be the main component. It has both baked and not baked but put gelatin for helps to keep the shape. The cheesecake also refrigerate before eating.


Classification of cake make ​​to know about the different of each types of cake. Although the appearance, taste of the cake, and trick tips are different, but the basics of making cakes in each types remain the same.

          When we talk about the desserts that widely popular around the world. Have variety shape, elaborately decorate, beautiful and attractive to the spectator. I believe that everyone known this dessert as well “Cake”.

          Cake is another type of food that looks sweet and through the baking process which made ​​from flour, sugar, and other ingredients for example eggs, wheat, vegetables, fruits that have flavor sweet or sour etc. or composition that has fat such as butter, cheese, yeast, milk, margarine etc. The people eat cake for dessert and celebrate in their festivals. Especially, for birthdays and weddings. Making cakes have a lot of recipe or formula in making. Cakes also is the desserts that popular all over the world.


 Nowadays, there are people who want to learn to make cakes for many different purposes such as studying for bring to open cake shop etc. So, the consume of cakes in the society around the world increase too.

Making cake have to require expertise, knowledge and creativity for the cake that have quality, fresh and delicious. In this article will take about the different between butter cake and merinque cake.

           Butter cake is cake that has high fat. The rise of this type of cake occur from beating between butter and sugar by the fat will keep the air which will expand during baking. This type of cake for example white cake, chocolate cake, and fruit cake etc.


              Merinque cake is cake that uses only egg whites. Cake is soft such as angel cakes, chiffon cake or combination type cake. Cake that looks mix between butter cake and egg cake is has structure of the egg cake and the cake that glossy similar butter cake but have a little different from butter cake are chiffon cake use oil instead of butter or margarine, and the process of making cake also mix between butter cake and egg cake.


          All types of cake have different flavors and delicious depending on the purpose in making, selection the materials, and the suitability of each type of cake. So, before you decide to make a cake or consume the cake should know some information of that cake such as butter cake has a high-fat. So is not suitable to people that have high cholesterol etc.

In the past, cake was established from the west. Cake is a dessert that resembles a sphere, has flavor is similar to fruit because they use fruit which can find in the local. It’s a dessert that delicious, beautiful, and attract consumer. Then, cake is very popular that make cake widespread in different areas all over the world. After that, everyone know the cake and it became to the famous dessert. The resulted are in the present have increase in making cake and consumption of cakes, the business about cakes and dessert in the society growth and development about the cake in several forms for example using flowers and herbs to making cakes, making cake in several shapes etc.


Currently, cake very different from the past both shapes and flavor because they want to update and develop for appropriate with era. Especially, have more population in the consumer cake that also make increase competition in the business of making cakes. Each shop always create their new cakes to attract the attention of customers such as making cakes that have shape appropriate with the festivals and making cake that little sweet for health of people etc.

How to make cakes (Process)

How to make cakes

Ingredients:
Flour, butter, eggs, baking powder, salt, flavored scent and milk.


Steps:

First. Sift flour with dry ingredients such as baking powder, salt, cocoa etc. Then put into mixing bowl.


Second. Put eggs and butter that has normal temperature (similar to clay). Then, when the flour become granule like the sand after that use the mixer machine for mix ingredients together (speed number 1).



Third. Put half of all liquid. Then, when mix to combine put all the remaining to mix again. Use mixer machine medium speed (number 2).


Forth. When the ingredients mix together until smooth, then pour into plate that coat a little of fat. After that, bake in the oven.

   



 Finally, decorate the cake according to your creative ideas.




Making the cake have to use knowledge, skill, refinement, delicate, creativity and patience because making the cake have many process for making the cake that beautiful, delicious, good quality and attract the consumers,

        In the past, the cake was made for only thank and blessings to God but later the cake was more used in important day such as Christmas, New Year, Birthday etc. Nowadays, cake very popular and become international dessert.

     Most wedding cake will be large, the shape arrange layers lined up, and decorated the cake with cream and sugar for beautifully. Sometimes may be use an almond in ingredient for making. The top of the cake often decorated with a doll instead of a wedding couple or may be used a bird, a gold ring or a horseshoe because these things is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity of the newlyweds. Mostly wedding cake use white cake because the belief of most people, wedding cakes have to be white. The white represents pure love and belief that the white cake is a symbol of love that trust and stability.


                      Birthday cake


     Birthday cake is the cake that use for congratulate and celebrate in the birthday for long time. Most the birthday cakes have shape, decorations and taste follow the favor of that person for example the child will be like a cartoon decorated on their birthday cake and taste like a chocolate cake etc. Birthday cake is another thing that make the person that receive will be impressed and happy.

Cake is a dessert that can be show many good meaning depending on the event and appropriateness of providing. Most used the cakes for celebration and congratulations.
