How to make cakes

Ingredients:
Flour, butter, eggs, baking powder, salt, flavored scent and milk.


Steps:

First. Sift flour with dry ingredients such as baking powder, salt, cocoa etc. Then put into mixing bowl.


Second. Put eggs and butter that has normal temperature (similar to clay). Then, when the flour become granule like the sand after that use the mixer machine for mix ingredients together (speed number 1).



Third. Put half of all liquid. Then, when mix to combine put all the remaining to mix again. Use mixer machine medium speed (number 2).


Forth. When the ingredients mix together until smooth, then pour into plate that coat a little of fat. After that, bake in the oven.

   



 Finally, decorate the cake according to your creative ideas.




Making the cake have to use knowledge, skill, refinement, delicate, creativity and patience because making the cake have many process for making the cake that beautiful, delicious, good quality and attract the consumers,

        In the past, the cake was made for only thank and blessings to God but later the cake was more used in important day such as Christmas, New Year, Birthday etc. Nowadays, cake very popular and become international dessert.

          Wedding cake


     Most wedding cake will be large, the shape arrange layers lined up, and decorated the cake with cream and sugar for beautifully. Sometimes may be use an almond in ingredient for making. The top of the cake often decorated with a doll instead of a wedding couple or may be used a bird, a gold ring or a horseshoe because these things is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity of the newlyweds. Mostly wedding cake use white cake because the belief of most people, wedding cakes have to be white. The white represents pure love and belief that the white cake is a symbol of love that trust and stability.


                      Birthday cake


     Birthday cake is the cake that use for congratulate and celebrate in the birthday for long time. Most the birthday cakes have shape, decorations and taste follow the favor of that person for example the child will be like a cartoon decorated on their birthday cake and taste like a chocolate cake etc. Birthday cake is another thing that make the person that receive will be impressed and happy.

Cake is a dessert that can be show many good meaning depending on the event and appropriateness of providing. Most used the cakes for celebration and congratulations.

          "Cake" has origins from Old Norse in Middle English. The people made ​​cakes to worship the god and used cake as food in the family. The French when referring to cakes will mean all type of fruit cake. The people in Great Britain and the United States use the word “cake” for call many types of dessert for example sponge cake, iced cake, chocolate cake etc. Cakes will have quality it’s depend on the selection quality of ingredients and the formulation that use for made.

Types of cakes

          Butter cake
     The cakes are high fat. The spongy of the cake in this type cause of the air from beating the butter and sugar because fat will keep the air and it will expand during baking. This types of cake such as white cake, chocolate cake, and fruit cake etc.
   



          Unshortened cake or Foam - type cake
     Unshortened cakes are the cakes that no fat in ingredients. Size of cake depend on the expanding of the albumen that was hit until rise and it will keep the air during hit that makes cakes will expand during baking. Making the cake of this type should be make with caution because the lather from hitting albumen that weakness different from butter cakes. There are two types:

         - Sponge cake
     Sponge cake is a cake that use eggs as the main ingredient. The quality of the eggs will have a lot of effect on the sponge cake because this cake will sponge by eggs. So, eggs have to fresh. The eggs in normal temperature better than the eggs that keep in refrigerator. Making cakes will bring all of ingredients except butter beaten together by adding quality additives and beat it until the ingredient is rise after that put the melts butter.
   



          - Merinque cake
     Merinque cake is the cake that use only albumen for example angel cake and lemon meringue cake etc.



          Chiffon cake

     Chiffon cake is the cake that have delicate like unshortened cakes and have cake shiny like butter cake.

Cakes have a lot of shape and color. Cake is a dessert made for the occasion. Cakes have beautiful shape and decorated to appropriate with occasion such as weddings, birthday celebrations etc. The taste of the cake have mellow, delicious and have taste different according to the materials used such as sweet and sour etc. The cake is a deserts that have fragrant and attractive. When we touch the cake it very soft, the power is sparse and not moldy. Decorated cake will use delicious cream or jam spread on the cake and more decorated by use materials that appropriate with the taste of the cake such as fruit, jams, fancy candles etc.
